Rural healthcare provider Access Medical Clinic (AMC) is continuing its commitment to strengthening access to high-quality outpatient care while supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families in underserved communities. As part of that commitment, AMC clinic teams across Arkansas and Tennessee recently joined local back-to-school efforts to donate necessary supplies, provide physical exams and support community wellness for students and families preparing for the school year.
In Arkadelphia, Arkansas, the AMC team donated nearly 800 water bottles to Peake Elementary. In Jacksboro, Tennessee, team members joined the LaFollette community for National Night Out, a community celebration welcoming students back to school. Additional AMC teams in Arkansas participated in local Back-to-School Bashes, distributing school supplies and hosting giveaways, while another team offered sports and routine physicals to help local students prepare for the year ahead during a back-to-school event.
“These efforts reflect AMC’s broader commitment to be an active member of the communities we serve. We know that access to care can create opportunity, and to truly ensure access, we must meet our patients where they are – whether that’s in classrooms, at community events or in our clinics,” said Access Medical Clinic CEO Jared Clifford.
Through continued investment in accessible, high-quality outpatient care and meaningful community partnerships, AMC remains focused on helping individuals and families access the care and resources they need to thrive.
